Hey there,

A friend from Texas and I stayed at Palmantier's in late May and were so pleased with the accommodations...large and very clean room, comfortable beds and relaxing rocking chairs just outside our door! Rainie was delightful and introduced us to her dog and two others that she was dog-sitting for the day! We both would stay here again! Highly recommended!

My mother recently passed away and we were in an ever changing need for rooms. The quaintness of the Palmantiers drew me to make the call, Rainie drew me in. We had revolving rooms over two weekends and one week. Rainie even stayed up late, two nights by mistake, just to be there for our travelers from Arizona. The rooms have a gorgeous Ohio country feel with very ample room and accommodations. I was highly jealous that I had to stay in the loft at the cousins!!!

We stayed at Palmantiers for six days in August,2019. We really enjoyed the accommodations which were spacious and very clean. Rainey was very accommodating and worked extremely hard to make sure we had everything we needed. When we had signal strength issue with the WiFi she immediately bought new equipment and had it installed within the day. No doubt we will stay there again on our next visit to Minerva.

Stayed there last weekend and felt like I was in my home away from home! I grew up in Robertsville and came back to Ohio for Minerva High School 55th Reunion. The room at Palmantiers was clean and beautiful and Rainie was sure to see that I had everything I needed! I was treated like a friend and not a stranger. That was a gift!! It was a delightful 4 day, 3 night stay in a lovely place with the most beautiful surroundings. Thank you Rainie, your daughter and your husband for all the kindness.

I grew up in a house just a half a mile from Palmantier's. So I never needed to book a room...until my mom passed away this past January (2017) My brother and I decided to auction off her house in March and I needed a place to stay during the days of getting the house ready. So I booked a room here. I can't even begin to put into words how pleasantly surprised I was. The room was inviting, spacious, clean, and had everything I could want...felt like my home away from home. But the best part for me was the warm, friendly welcome from the owners, especially after losing my mom. Rainey and Earl turned a challenging time for me into a very special memory. I will be back for more :-)

We drove straight through from Texas to Ohio. We still had about an hour to go to our destination but it was getting late and we were exhausted. Our normal route was closed so we were rerouted right past Palmantiers. We actually drove past it then decided to turn around. What a blessing this was. We ended up staying the whole week. We drove back and forth every day. The owners made us feel like old friends! It rained a lot during our stay so the garage was fantastic! We sat and watched the rain in comfort! The rooms are huge and the beds are so comfortable! I highly recommend this place! I wish there were more places like this across the United States. Since we have stayed here, nowhere else has measured up! Thank you so much for your hospitality Rainey and Earl!

This is the most beautiful motel we've ever stayed in! We adored the red brick. The rooms were more like little houses. Very charming and beautifully decorated. The landscaped area around the swimming pool was perfect. I've rarely seen a pool so beautifully maintained. Actually, the pool, grounds, and rooms, were exceptionally well maintained. Plus, as a retired soldier, I loved the flag flying over the property. As if this all weren't enough, the rates were incredibly reasonable and the staff was warm and welcoming.

We stayed at the Palmantiers for 5 nights during FFOH 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations especially the pool! Rainy and family treated us like royalty. The room had A/C, Shower, Frig with small freezer, Satellite TV, WiFi, two beds and plenty of space. The garage was handy too and included a grill. We will no doubt be back again next year!

We just love this place!!! We have stayed here several times in the past year. It is so cozy and the Owners (Rainey and Earl) are awesome <3 They are so friendly and welcome you with open arms and make you feel like family. This is a place that if you are in the area you have to at least give them a chance.

We stayed at Palmantier's for four days in August 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay the motel. The owners Rainey and Earl were fun to talk with. The rooms were neat, well cared for and clean. I would recommend this location as a quality place to stay.
